Veils – their beauty is their mystery, not their explanation; always seen, they whisper what is not. Side by side they suggest common depth.

Subverting the Veil

The need to involve our many senses in the experience of art – to move away from the don’t-touch gallery culture and the leave-it-to-the-professionals art culture

De-familiarisation and re-familiarization rather than shocking and alienation.

The progression of this project – for each individual involved. The all important process.

Experimenting with my own ideas of symbols and links – mapping and travelling new ways around my ideas and mind.

Don’t forget the need for aesthetic decisions, the conceptual is far from all, and the effect you cannot reason with is sometimes the most powerful. Instinct.
