Sketchbook Home

Wherever I lay my pen…

I’m pretty much always on the hoof – traveling for work and music – so most of the work I do is in my sketchbook journal and thats where the kernel of all ideas begins, and where many of them find completion.

My sketchbook feels like living artwork, an extension of my mind and eyes, always changing and responding to its surroundings.

The truest marks I ever make are in there.

Here’s a few glimpses from travels and musings, from illustrations to portraits, from running projects like ‘Mistakable Bodies’, and ‘Frail’….  and from strangers on the street to the strangers in my mind, who all feel familiar by the time they reach the page.
