Musical Etchings

Here are a selection of etchings from 2015. Most feature musicians. I am a sing and play banjo, guitar and washboard so I feel my visual art is very connected to music. When I draw musicians I almost think of the shape of the music in the body.

I fell in love with the process of etching, with the infinite variation and the balance between precision and chance. There are various artist proofs and single edition etchings that occurred during the process as well as editions. You can see some of the variations.
